Royal Parade 1/5 by Gwyther Irwin
| "I wasn't particularly interested in it, but I started working on the colours and got more excited that's the way art always goes. I don't show that one all the time.
I work flat out at my own pace every day. I have done everything to avoid teaching, but they all come to me to ask me about painting which I am quite happy to do now. I never think of myself as an artist - I never wanted to be an 'artist'. What I like doing is making these colours work - that's all I do - which is either good or bad, depending on how you feel."
